First place in the CFL’s West Division is on the line today at McMahon Stadium asStamps_Esks.jpg old familar foes Calgary and Edmonton face each other for the first time during the 2011 regular season.

The Stampeders are coming off back-to-back road wins and are seeking a third consecutive victory after a season-opening setback. The Eskimos are one of two remaning unbeaten teams in the CFL (East leader Montreal is the other).

If you’re coming to the stadium, please remember that this is the Stampeders’ Purolator Tackle Hunger game to benefit the Calgary Food Bank. By donating non-perishable food items or cash, you could win a pair of tickets to the 2011 Grey Cup or an autographed Henry Burris jersey.

Before the game, you can stop by Foothills Stadium for the pre-game bash. After the success of the Canada Day event, the Stamps are happy to introduce these get-togethers as a regular feature for home games.

Also, AM 770 has the call on radio with Mark Stephen and Greg Peterson. This is a big year for the Stampeders’ radio partners as QR77 celebrates its 20th season of bringing the Red and White to the listening audience. The game will also be telecast on TSN (subject to local blackout).
