Even if it’s a pre-season game, it’s good to get that win tonight and to go into the regular season on a good note. It was a nice win and we’ve got a lot of high hopes for this season.

It was a good job all around by the team tonight, especially in the first quarter. The offence was executing, making plays and getting the job done. The defence was stopping the Edmonton offence and getting the ball back for our offence. We had each others’ backs and it was good to get that early lead.

I got to show off some of other talents tonight when I came off the defensive line and dropped back into pass coverage. Those were my linebacker instincts kicking in right there.

And of course, it’s always great to get an interception.

Now the big thing is we’ve finished this game and we’ve finished the regular season and now we get ready for the next game and the next team and the start of the regular season.

We’ve got a week to go to get ready and we just want to keep getting better and build up that camaraderie and hopefully getting ready for some big things this season.

We’re looking forward to it.
