Calgary Stampeders season-ticket holders will get first crack at seats for Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic II, which will be held on Sept. 25 in Moncton, N.B.
The Canadian Football League held a press conference in Moncton today to unveil ticket options for the highly anticipated game between the visiting Stamps and host Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Stamps president and COO Lyle Bauer and quarterback Henry Burris were in Moncton for the announcement.
“This is a tremendous chance for our fans to see football in a different part of the country,” says Bauer. “Although the Stampeders will technically be the visiting team in Moncton, it would be great to see a lot of red in the stands.”
Season-ticket holders can buy Touchdown Atlantic tickets starting at 7 a.m. MDT on Monday, May 9. The 48-hour pre-sale ends at 7 a.m. MDT on May 11, at which time tickets will be available to the general public. Tickets for the inaugural Touchdown Atlantic in 2010 sold out in less than 32 hours.
The Stampeders today are also announcing that a limited number of premium seats at McMahon Stadium have been released for the 2011 season. The best seats in the house won’t last long, so fans are urged to call the Ticket Office at (403) 289-0258.
