On behalf of the Calgary Stampeder Football Club — our ownership, coaches, players, management and staff — I would like to wish all of our fans a happy and safe holiday season and a prosperous New Year.
There were many highlights during the past year, both on and off the field and we thank you for sharing these special moments with us. From the 65th anniversary of the Stampeders, to the golden anniversary of Our House — built by Stampeders fans — McMahon Stadium, to a first-place finish in the West Division, to Henry Burris’ award-winning season, to Joffrey Reynolds’ ascension to the top of the franchise rushing list and many other highlights, it was certainly a year to remember.
In our never-ending commitment to delivering our fans the best on-field and off-field product, we are already hard at work for 2011 as we look to complete the unfinished business of the past season. Key players and coaching personnel have already been retained and, off the field, we are continuing to strive to further enhance the game-day experience at McMahon Stadium. One of the highlights of the coming year is sure to be the Canadian Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which will be held in Calgary.
We consider ourselves fortunate to have such wonderful fans as part of the Stampeders family and we look forward to even better things in 2011.
Go Stamps Go!
