Western Final is sold out

The Calgary Stampeders are pleased to announce that Sunday’s Western Final against the Saskatchewan Roughriders is completely sold out. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. and for those without tickets, the game will be broadcast on TSN and AM770 CHQR.

“The fact we are able to announce a sellout is a testament to the support of our great fans,” said Stampeders president/COO Lyle Bauer. “We had sold over 31,000 tickets prior to knowing who our opponent would be and once that team was determined, the remaining seats were gone quickly. I think people in this city are excited for playoff football and we look forward to them packing Our House on Sunday, sporting their red and cheering our team on.”

The sellout is the second in a row for a division final at McMahon. The Stamps played in front of a capacity crowd in 2008 when they hosted the BC Lions.
