Downtown rally to be held Tuesday

The Calgary Stampeders, in conjunction with Sport Chek, will host a street rally in advance of next week’s Western Final. The playoff rally will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of Sport Chek on Stephen Avenue.

The Stamps finished the regular season atop the West Division, posting the CFL’s best record at 13-5, and will host their second Western Final in three years at McMahon Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 21 at 2:30 p.m.

“It is clear by the number of tickets sold to date that Stamps fans are behind this team, regardless of who we face in the Western Final,” said Stampeders president/COO Lyle Bauer. “This city is excited for playoff football and we’re looking forward to fans packing Our House on Nov. 21st and making the environment at McMahon just as, if not more, amazing than we have seen in recent years.”
