We’re still in control. That loss doesn’t make or break our destiny, what we want. Ultimately, we want that bye week and we still have two games left to get the job done.
Being able to come back from that deficit doesn’t mean anything. Moral victories don’t mean anything for us. A “W” is a “W” and it would have felt better if we had got the win, but at the end of the day, it’s like I said, we still have two more games to fulfill our destiny. We’re just looking forward to the next one.
What Arjei (Franklin) has to go through right now is real tough. That’s like having the weight of the world on your shoulders, you know what I mean? That ball must have been in the air for a long time on that play. That’s a tough play for him but you know, that happens.
We have to be here for our teammate and we stick together as a team. That one play did not define the outcome of the game. It was a culmination of plays that got them to where they got. We have to regroup, reload and be better next week.
I’m confident in what we an do as a group and I’m confident we’ll be able to do what we need to do next week.
