All season long, Stampeders fans have shown tremendous support for their football club and there’s no reason not to expect more of the same for the final two regular-season games of 2010 as well as the home playoff date that has already been clinched.

For that loyally, the Stampeders would like to thank those loyal supporters and the club will do just that on Friday, Oct. 22 when the BC Lions provide the opposition at McMahon Stadium.

It’ll be Fan Appreciation Night as we celebrate the best fans in the Canadian Football League. The evening culminates with the tradition of Stamps players presenting their authentic game-worn 2010 white road jerseys to a select group of fans chosen by random draw.

Friday also features the Stampeders Wall of Fame ceremony as the Class of 2010 will officially have their names added alongside those of the franchise’s other legendary players and builders. This year’s inductees include Will Johnson, Alondra Johnson, Bernie Morrison and Jim Finks.

Of course, we can’t forget about the football. The first-place Stamps are looking for their 12th win of the season, a result which would allow them to clinch first place in the West Division.
