Obviously, this is a big game coming up on Sunday against the Roughriders.
We just have to come in focused and make sure everybody’s on the same page and get out there and perform. We know they’ll come with their “A” game and it’s tough playing in Saskatchewan. We already know these things and we just have to prepare for them and get ready to play.
Everybody on this team knows that whatever happened in the past, stays in the past. That’s true whether you’re talking about good things or bad things. In a way, we’ve just got to wipe the state clean.
We know that the crowd at Saskatchewan can be loud and sometimes it can be a factor, but we just have to concentrate on the things that we can control. Maybe it’s a good environment for the Riders to play in but we can only control what we control.
The Saskatchewan offence presents a challenge for a defence. You’ve got Durant there scrambling and getting the ball to the receivers who are running around to get open. You’ve got to be ready to play.
We already know the challenges because we’ve played them twice this year — we played them here and we played them there. We know we’ve got to come with our “A” game.
