Arthur: Always great to go back home

It’s great to be going to Montreal. I was born and raised on the West Island of Montreal in Dollard-des-Ormeaux and I had a very good amateur career in Montreal.

Then I went to the United States to play my college ball, so the next time I played in Montreal was in the 2008 Grey Cup. All the trips to Montreal are fun because I get to play in front of my mom, my brothers and the rest of my family . . . it’s always great to go back there.

Arthur_101007.jpgGetting tickets is hard. I tried and I tried and I’m still trying. Obviously, it’s a very tall order to get tickets in Montreal and I think I might have to purchase a few. We have a few guys from the Montreal area on our team, so there’s competition to get everyone’s complimentary tickets.

I came a little late this season and the other guys had already put their plans together on how they were going to get their tickets in Montreal. Chevy’s got seniority on me, Calixte has it and Robede has it. So I’m just scrambling and trying to do what I can. The nice thing is some of my family already bought tickets earlier in the season as soon as I came back to the Stamps, so that will help.

On the field, we want to keep things going like we had them going last week against Montreal. After the game before against BC, our attitude was all business. We had a refuse-to-lose attitude and we just said we were going to give our best effort on every single play and we’d see what happened. What happened is that we came together and played great.

Like the coach, we set that tone last week and now we’re going to try to keep it up for the rest of the season.

The coach said he wanted us to start fast last week and we were able to get those two quick touchdowns, so starting fast is exactly what we did. We started real fast. That set the tone of the game. We started off quick and we just continued from there.

The replays of Ken-Yon’s 100-yard touchdown showed me getting a block downfield and a few people have been asking me about that. The coach had said we had to go out there and give our best effort on every single play and that’s what I did. I did my best to take my guy out of the play and Ken-Yon saw that, made a nice little cut and Lambo Rambo took it to the house!
