Hey Stamps fans,
Just wanted to talk a little bit about PinkPower, which is coming up again during our next home game on Sept. 25 against the BC Lions.
We are going to be selling PinkPower product again — lovely toques and scarves — at $20 a pop with everything going to the Canadian Cancer Society. We’re just doing what we can and we encourage every fan to come out and give generously like they have in the past.
The stuff is really great. It’s Reebok product, so we’ve upped the scale and we hope it’s going to grow even more.
It’s been a big program for us and it’s been very successful, due in large part to the fans and to the people in Calgary for giving the way they have. It’s just taken off and we hope it does well again this year.
Cancer is one of those things that affects each and every one of us directly or indirectly multiple times in our lives. I always say it’s a selfless but it’s a selfish act because you’re giving to something that some day you’re going to get back in your life.
From my own personal experience, I lost one grandmother to breast cancer and my other grandmother just beat it due in part to a lot of people donating and things advancing when it comes to cancer research.
Cancer is a daunting thing but it’s come a long way due in part to programs like PinkPower so give generously, as you have in the past and get your PinkPower product.
