Reynolds: Awesome to get the record

We knew it wasn’t going to be easy coming in here. They weren’t going to lie down for us and we knew they would want to win in front of their crowd. To see the team bounce back and for the offence to stay on the field and to move the ball the way we did is awesome. I’m very proud of the team — everyone played well.

We are at our best when we have a balanced attack. When defences can’t pinpoint on you. When they try to take away the run, the pass game flourishes and vice versa. That is what we are working to become, a balanced offence that moves the ball.

reynoldsatedm.jpgIt was awesome to get the record. Especially to pass a guy like Kelvin Anderson, who I’ve heard nothing but good things about. Look at his numbers; they speak for themselves. I have a lot of respect for a guy I’ve never met and hopefully I can meet him someday.

I’ve been blessed. To be able to get this record and to not have missed a game because of injury is special. That’s the biggest blessing of all. And after that, I’ve been fortunate enough to play on great teams. I’m not doing this on my own. I have a great offensive line, the guys here this year and those before them. It’s really a combination of a lot of things.

Now we’re heading to Saskatchewan for a really big game in a hostile environment. It’s another stepping stone for us and I’m looking forward to the challenge.
