The CFL has fined five players, including three members of the Stampeders, an undisclosed amount in the wake of events during Sunday’s game against the Edmonton Eskimos.
“The league reviewed the incident very closely and we all understand and respect the decisions that have been made,” said Stamps head coach/general manager John Hufnagel. “The Calgary Stampeders certainly don’t condone the incident that took place, or the actions of certain players, and we all hope to avoid any type of repeat in the future.”
