Despite the inclement weather, Fan Day is still on. The locker-room tour and open practice are still on and the autograph sessions will be moved to the concourse in the event it’s raining at the time. Unfortunately, the family activities in the parking lot have been cancelled because of the weather.

Hey Stamps fans — Come to Our House and be our guests of honour this Labour Day weekend! That’s OUR HOUSE — built by the Calgary Stampeders fans.

Leading up to the annual Labour Day Classic against the Edmonton Eskimos, your Stampeders are pleased to hold a Fan Day at McMahon Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 5.

There’ll be an open practice that day as the first-place Stamps prepare for the annual grudge match with their provincial rivals. In addition, there will be Stamps’ Store is offering specials on select merchandise.

Practice begins at 10:40 a.m. and runs until approximately 11:15 a.m. Locker-room tours will take place during the practice. Players will sign autographs until approximately noon.

Also in attendance will be Stamps alumni and members of the Calgary Stampeder Outriders.

Posters and mini-footballs will be given away and fans will be able to take a tour of the Stampeders’ new locker-room.

We hope you’ll be able to join us for this special day and help us celebrate the football club’s 65th-anniversary season as well as McMahon’s 50th anniversary.
