The contest comes 220 days after the Stampeders’ 2009 campaign came to a disappointing end with a West Final loss in Regina and the Red and White are determined to return to their 2008 championship form.

If you can’t make it to the stadium, you can follow the action by getting exclusive live updates on the Stampeders’ Game Day Twitter feed.

Our SIRIUS/StampsConnect photo contest is back for another season, which means more chances to win a satellite radio with six months of free service. And it’s so easy to enter, too — just snap and send some Stamps-related photos to share with your fellow fans.

There’ll be lots of action at the stadium today including a halftime ceremony honouring Canadian Olympic athletes and a post-game fireworks display.

On the field, Calgary is hooking up with a couple of familiar faces as longtime Stampeders coach and front-office exec Jim Barker is the Double Blue’s new head coach and Jeremaine Copeland is wearing No. 80 for Toronto after wearing those digits with such distinction for so many seasons in Calgary.
