The Calgary Stampeders meet the Montreal Alouettes on Monday afternoon (actually, the game starts in the morning in the Mountain time zone) at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is at 11 a.m. MDT.

Today’s contest is a rematch of the 2008 Grey Cup but far more importantly from a right-here, right-now perspective, it’s a battle of Canadian Football League division leaders. The Alouettes are 11-2 and have already clinched top spot in the East. The Stampeders are 8-5 and are trying to create daylight between themselves and the Saskatchewan Roughriders, who grabbed a share of top spot in the West on Saturday with a win over the Toronto Argonauts.
