The Canadian Football League announced Tuesday that it has fined Calgary Stampeders defensive back Brandon Browner an undisclosed amount for an excessive touchdown celebration in Friday’s 44-9 victory over the Calgary Stampeders.
“I accept and understand the ruling,” said Browner. “I didn’t mean any disrespect; it was just something I did in the heat of the moment. I was excited and having fun, I jumped in the crowd and threw a drink in my face. Next time, I’ll show better judgment.”
