INSIDER: Buy tickets, win prizes

Fans can buy early and win big when single-game tickets for Canadian Football League games go on sale to the general public on Monday, June 1.

In Calgary, tickets for the June 17 pre-season game against the BC Lions and the July 1 season-opener against the Montreal Alouettes will go on sale starting June 1. All eight remaining games will go on sale starting July 1.

Everyone who completes a single-game-ticket purchase order between June 1 and June 8 will have the chance to win a prize from a long list that includes:

  • A trip for two to the 97th Grey Cup game in Calgary
  • Retro Fan Packages featuring merchandise celebrating each team’s 1960s style
  • Current team merchandise prize packs
  • Hundreds of Tim Hortons gift cards

“We’re coordinating our single-game ticket launch across our teams this year with two important objectives in mind,” said CFL Commissioner Mark Cohon. “We want to promote, obviously, the great game of Canadian football, and we want to celebrate and reward the fans who love it and support it.”

As of 10 a.m. on June 1, Stamps fans will be able to buy tickets by dropping by the ticket office, which is located on the east side of McMahon Stadium facing Crowchild Trail or by calling 403-289-0258. There’s a toll-free number for out-of-towners — 1-800-667-3267.
