INSIDER: Huff’s hotlist

Coach Hufnagel explained this afternoon a few of the things he’s most interested in seeing in Friday’s pre-season game against Edmonton:

"I’m looking forward to seeing the play of the offensive line. We have some players who have been good at camp but I want to see how they perform in a game. There are some guys who need to step up and others who need to confirm the things we believe to be true about them.

"We have some good, young receivers and I want to see who can perform in the game. We have a lot of competition in this area.

"I’ve always said I felt the secondary was the strength of the defence last year. They haven’t disappointed at camp. We have most of the guys back from last year and we’ve added some really good players, so there will be some tough competition.

"We have a lot of players on the defensive line who have looked good at different times and we have some solid options. The thing I’m looking for most is for us to stop the run. Then, we need to find out who can rush the passer.

"I’d like to see all four of our quarterbacks play but the game will dictate that because of time of possession. Henry will start."
