My very first CFL game ever was definitely special, but this one was great too.

We just wanted to pressure them early. On that first major, I got through the line clean and I just kind of had a good bounce into my hands after blocking the punt and kept running with it and I was fortunate enough to get the touchdown.

That play was just the call we made from the sideline and it ended up working out. At the end of the day, a play is a play and we won the game.

It wasn’t an easy win at all. Edmonton has been playing really well but now we’re 4-0 and we’ve just got to keep on rolling with it.

Their fake punt caught a lot of us by surprise. On the line they we’re blocking a little bit longer than normal so I put my eyes to the backfield and saw what was happening and we were able to make the play. I wasn’t sure where we were in relation to the first down marker. I was just trying to get him as fast as I could.

We made plays when we needed to and came out on top.

I’ve been feeling good this year despite battling injuries in the past. Last year was kind of frustrating in that regard but I feel good now and the important thing is we won.
